What kind of license do you have?

What does an LMFT do?

LMFTs are mental health professionals who specialize in the relationship dynamics of families, marriages, and couples. They evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental and emotional disorders, health issues, behavioral issues, and relationship dynamics

How do i know you are the right therapist for me?

You should feel comfortable sharing openly with your therapist including things you may not have discussed with anyone else. Feelings often come up during this process. It’s about having a rapport, trusting therapist and developing a good connection. Conversations should feel easy, not strained. The quality of the relationship with your therapist is the single largest determining factor for a positive outcome followed by the experience, education and knowledge of the therapist.

Aaron has more than 20 years experience in the field. He works from a non-shaming perspective to help guide clients away from destructive patterns and towards greater health, intimacy and self-potential.

Why see a specialist for sex and relationships?

Because they are very complex and nuanced issues and a well intentioned therapist that doesn’t have a comprehensive understanding can make it worse. You might save money at first seeing a general therapist, but in the long run it will be more cost effective to see someone who is specialized.
